NZCC in collaboration with U.T. Administration, Chandigarh is organizing ‘8th Chandigarh National Crafts Mela’ from November 4 to 13, 2016 at Kalagram, Manimajra, Chandigarh. This year the Theme would be ‘Rajasthan’. EOI is invited from reputed Art Experts, Designers of proven track record in erecting ethnic huts/stalls in National/State level cultural festivals for designing and erecting approximate 200 temporary ethnic huts (stalls) of approximately 10’ x 10’ to be made from bamboo, hessian cloth and mud with murals of Rajasthan thereon, at Kalagram for the said crafts Mela. Some features based on the theme will also be put up at five locations, the concept of which will be provided at the time of presentation.
Expert(s)/Designer(s) are invited on October 7, 2016 at Kalagram at 3.00 pm for pre-bid discussion and presentation on the scope of work and lay out plan for construction of huts and gates by the authorized Committee. Thereafter, they will submit bids which will include technical bid as per the scope of work alongwith demand draft of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rs. One lakh only) as earnest money in favour of Director, North Zone Cultural Centre payable at Patiala; and Financial Bid separately i.e. each in a separate sealed envelope which be put in a large sealed envelope addressed to the Director, North Zone Cultural Centre, Kalagram, Manimajra, Chandigarh and should reach the office of undersigned on or before October 10, 2016 upto 1.00 pm which will be opened on the same day at 3.00 pm in the presence of applicants or their duly authorized representatives. The Technical bid will also include all relevant information about their credentials, experience, work plan, methodology alongwith proof of work done by them for the assignment, for which the proposal may be submitted.
